2021 REBELS FEES

The Rebels programs have been developed to provide all players access to developmentally appropriate training with professional trainers and coaches.

NYRBC supports Professionally Coached teams where an experienced youth coach with College or Pro playing experience provides training at practices as well as coaching at each game.

Team

The fees for the age groups are provided below. Other team costs presented below are estimates for family planning purposes. These fees can vary by team and will depend on the services and playing options selected by the team. Please attend our Player Invitation Kick Off meeting to obtain more information for your child’s specific team.
• All New York Rebels BC players new to the organization will be required to purchase a uniform.
• Mandatory Uniform includes a home jersey, away jersey, 1 pair baseball pants, 1 belt, 1 baseball hat, 1 pair baseball socks.

COVID-19 Details:

These fees are set assuming a normal, full Spring/Summer of baseball including practices, games, and tournaments. Given the continuing uncertainty about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and how it may affect the upcoming season, we may adjust our fees downward if ongoing COVID-19 restrictions substantially limit our activities. For example, indoor training may be prohibited, or local games might be allowed while tournaments might not. Please bear with us as we navigate these uncertain times. We will be working diligently to provide the best baseball program we can while complying with public health requirements.
Our payment schedules this year takes this uncertainty into account. We will treat payment for the Winter Training and the Spring Season separately. We will require families pay 10% of the Spring Season fee when they accept a roster spot and pay the remainder either as an upfront lump sum or in weekly installments at the beginning of Winter Training. We are planning a season of baseball that looks a lot like this past summer and fall, but you never know so we’re reducing the upfront payment and delaying the payment of the balance until January so that you won’t be paying any more money until we’re back on the field. We will require the first installment of Winter Training to be paid on December 1st with the balance due by January 1st. If Winter Training has to be cancelled due to Covid-19 regulations, we will refund all payments associated minus a 5% charge for costs incurred. A player who accepts an invitation to play with the team commits to play for Spring and Summer.

NY Rebels has always offered an installment payment plan. This year, if we adjust our fees to reflect COVID restrictions, we will factor that adjustment into those installment payments. In past seasons, some families have paid their entire annual registration fees in one lump sum. Because of this year’s uncertainty, particularly regarding indoor practice this winter, we are asking all families to sign up for the installment plan, and the first installment would not be until January 1st. We are finalizing the details of the installment plan and will have them available at the time of registration.
When you accept a roster spot for the 2021 Spring/Summer season, you will have 48 hours to register and submit the initial $200 payment towards the overall fee for their child.

This initial $200 payment will be non-refundable to cover NY Rebels fixed costs.

Families waiting for Financial Aid requests to be approved will be given additional time to complete the process.

2. Teams may opt to host fundraisers to offset future Tournament and Team Fees
